Welcome to my website! I'm Thomas Washington, a semi-retired high school librarian, English teacher, and published writer, with decades of experience in independent schools and currently adjunct professor of English at Palm Beach State College. Let's work together to complete your assignments and help you become a better writer. I have 30 years of professional experience as an English teacher and school librarian in independent schools, including Washington, DC, Boca Raton, Florida, and Albany, New York. I've assisted high school and college students on all levels, from sharpening the college essay, organizing research papers and citing research sources. The process is always engaging, and I'm devoted to each student's particular task to the point of perfection. This one to one, student / teacher collaboration never gets old! I'm also a journalist and essayist, with publications in the Boston Globe, Washington Post, Salon, and numerous literary quarterlies.
